About

I solve complex business problems with products that are visually pleasing, complete and intuitive. I bring research methods and design thinking to diverse industries, balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints, and I build the systems that make good design repeatable, with hands-on experience creating and owning design systems.

AI is a copilot in some of my processes. It speeds up the work, while interpretation and decisions stay human.

Turning unpaid assessment hours into insurer-paid care

Assessments in Connect EMR, a web app for an autism healthcare company

Business challenge
Assessment results lived in loose PDF and Excel files, and half of the treatment plans were missing them. Without that evidence, the clinics could not prove the service to insurers, who approved 9 hours per assessment while the real work took 5 to 7 hours more.
My contribution
As Senior UX/UI Designer, I researched with clinical roles, BI and billing, mapped the assessments journey, defined the MVP flow and designed it with Crayon, the design system I created.
Key result
Insurers started paying the effective assessment hours: USD 80K+ recovered in the first year (BI hours and appointment data cross-checked with billing), and approx. 100+ appointment hours freed in the first quarter (estimate from clinical team interviews and a later review).

Case 02 · 2024 (Crayon UI 1.0.1)

One team, one visual language: the system behind 18 modules

A design system for Connect EMR, built as component creator and Product Owner

Business challenge
Connect EMR was built from a small UI kit based on MUI. With few components to draw from, four UX/UI designers and each module drifted into their own visual styles, and front-end rebuilt the same pieces by hand.
My contribution
I created Crayon as component creator and Product Owner. I set the backlog from an internal audit of component usage, ran the joint sessions with development, and introduced a Visual QA practice so what ships matches what was designed.
Key result
Crayon was implemented in a total of 18 Connect EMR modules, and Visual QA on those modules moved from checking font sizes and border radius to reviewing flows and use cases.

Case 03 · 2021 - present (first version designed February to July 2021; continuous evolution up to version 1.7)

The app that outgrew the showroom

A mobile app for Icon Selections, a creator of new flower varieties

Business challenge
Every year Icon Selections shows its new flower varieties in an outdoor showroom. Attendees recorded orders and feedback in a printed legal-size booklet that got lost or damaged, so data was lost and the rest had to be typed again by hand.
My contribution
I researched on site, designed the first version end to end (flows, UI foundations, components, prototype) and have owned the product's design through eight versions, 1.0 to 1.7. An event tool became a year-round catalog and a source of feedback for the business.
Key result
About 300 attendees use it at every showroom since 2021 and it captures about 70 orders a year (both figures from Icon Selections' own data, official source). Attendee feedback now becomes data the business analyses for each variety.

Case 04 · Two weeks, delivered in April 2026

Two weeks to ship, 30% to win

Uber Health ride booking inside Connect EMR, a healthcare system

Business challenge
Clinic staff needed to book Uber Health rides for clients from inside Connect EMR. The initial contract with Uber granted a 30% subscription discount only if an MVP shipped in two weeks.
My contribution
As Senior UX/UI Designer, I read the partner's widget documentation first and helped both companies pick the fastest viable path. Then I designed everything around the widget: permission-based entry, states, ride summaries, partial cancellation and access to ride history from day one.
Key result
Shipped in two weeks, securing the 30% subscription discount (source: the contract with Uber). The integration now handles about 3,200 rides a month (source: internal report, average over the first 3 months in production).

Case 05 · 2021

60 analysts, one visual language

A data visualization system for Verdad Única, GHT Corp's reporting platform

Business challenge
Verdad Única holds logistics, operations, commercial and financial data, but every analyst built reports in their own style, with chart types that did not always fit the data. Reports were slow to build and hard to read.
My contribution
As UX/UI Design Analyst, I facilitated research with users from every business area at the annual Analytics event. I turned the agreements into a reporting design system that works directly inside Power BI.
Key result
Built with 60+ analysts invited (attendance list of the Analytics event), it cut the time to build a report by 20% on average (surveys, validated against report volume), and 250+ users now read reports in one format (Digital Operations area).
